This 2005 Ferrari 575 is one of 559 Superamerica hardtop convertibles produced with a retractable electrochromic roof panel and was specified from the factory with the GTC Package, a $21,837 option that added a titanium exhaust system, carbon-ceramic brakes, and suspension and steering upgrades. This Superamerica was ordered new by collector Michael Fux through Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut, and remained with him until 2015 when it was sold to its second owner in North Carolina. Finished in Rosso Fiorano over Crema leather, the car is powered by a 5.75-liter F133 V12 linked with a six-speed F1 automated manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. It is further equipped with 19″ multi-piece alloy wheels, yellow brake calipers, and Scuderia Ferrari fender shields along with Daytona-style seats, a hi-fi sound system, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel and dash. Acquired by the current owner in 2024, this 575 Superamerica has 1,780 miles and is now offered with a carbon-fiber roof protection kit, a car cover, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the name of the owner’s LLC.
Revealed at the Los Angeles Motor Show in January 2005, the 575 Superamerica featured a power-operated Revocromico rotating glass hardtop developed in collaboration with French supplier Saint Gobain. The glass is supported by a carbon-fiber surround and features five tint levels that can be controlled using a dial inside the cabin. The seller states that the top is fully functional, including the tint feature, and shows no sign of cracking or delamination.

This Superamerica is finished in Rosso Fiorano with Scuderia Ferrari shields on the fenders. Xenon headlights are paired with quad taillights out back, and further details include a hood scoop, fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. Paint meter readings are presented in the gallery.

The 19″ multi-piece wheels wear yellow prancing horse center caps and are mounted with 255/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in under current ownership in 2024. The GTC package added suspension and steering upgrades as well as well as a carbon-ceramic brake setup, which here is coupled with yellow-finished calipers.

The cabin features power-adjustable Daytona-style seats trimmed in Crema leather upholstery with red piping and stitching, and matching leather extends to the steering wheel and dash along with the center console, rear bulkhead, and door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the center stack, while maroon carpets line the floors. The car is equipped with automatic climate control as well as a hi-fi sound system featuring a Ferrari-branded Becker stereo linked with a six-disc CD changer in the trunk. The glovebox and a door panel were realigned and the driver’s side window regulator was replaced under current ownership.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts F1 paddle shifters and frames a carbon-fiber instrument panel housing a central red 10k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 1,780 miles, just over 100 of which were added under current ownership.

Factory rated at 532 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, the 5.75-liter F133 quad-cam V12 was specified with a titanium exhaust system as part of the GTC package. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed F1 automated manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The Skyhook adaptive dampers were refurbished, the battery was replaced, and the gearbox was serviced in 2021. Service in 2022 included changing the timing and serpentine belts in addition to flushing the coolant and installing replacement hood supports. A multi-point inspection and service was performed by Foreign Cars Italia of Greensboro, North Carolina, in February 2024 at a cost of over $5400.
