This 1987 Lamborghini Countach is one of approximately 610 examples of the 5000 Quattrovalvole variant produced between 1985 and 1988. Chassis 12108 was acquired by the current owner in 2016 and underwent an engine-out service, an interior refresh, and dry-ice cleaning of the underside in 2025. Now showing 10k kilometers (~6k miles), the car is finished in Bianco Perlato over Rosso leather and rides on body-color 15″ Ruote OZ wheels. Power is supplied by a 5.2-liter quad-cam V12 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Further details include pop-up headlights, scissor doors, Euro-market bumpers, and a rear wing along with a Raid steering wheel, a gated shifter, electronic climate control, and an Alpine stereo. This Countach 5000 QV is now offered on dealer consignment in Portland, Oregon, with manufacturer’s literature, a tool roll, recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
Introduced as a prototype in 1971, the Countach was designed by Bertone’s Marcello Gandini with angular wedge-shaped styling and scissor doors. The car features a tubular steel space frame under aluminum bodywork as well as NACA ducts aft of the doors and air intakes above the rear quarters.

The 5000 QV model debuted in 1985 and utilized Kevlar front and rear deck lids. This example is finished in Bianco Perlato and is said to have been fitted with European-specification bumpers by Franco’s European Sports Cars under previous ownership. Pop-up headlights are paired with Carello fog lights up front, while a V-shaped wing is equipped out back.

The body-color 15″ Ruote OZ wheels were mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires in preparation for the sale, per the selling dealer. Note that the photographs of the car were taken before the tires were changed. The Countach features a fully independent suspension with coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.

The refreshed cockpit features bucket seats upholstered in Rosso leather along with a matching center console, lower dashboard, and door panels. Interior appointments include an Alpine AM/FM cassette stereo, electronic climate control, and hand-crank windows. The air conditioning system was repaired and recharged with R134a refrigerant in preparation for the sale.

The leather-wrapped Raid steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter with a Personal knob and a reverse lockout. Jaeger instrumentation consists of a 320-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline along with gauges for battery voltage, oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 10k kilometers (~6k miles), approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The Bizzarrini-designed 5.2-liter V12 features a 60° cylinder bank angle, four valves per cylinder, and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Output was factory rated at 420 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, the former of which is mounted in the middle of the car, ahead of the engine.

The car underwent an engine-out service in 2025. Work involved the following:
- Repaired both radiators
